What is Buy Now?

2 Cheap Cars “Buy Now” Terms & Conditions

  • Buyer confirmations.
    By clicking “I have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions” you confirm that you are over the age of 18 years and that you:
  • Deposit.
    In order to confirm your vehicle purchase you will need to pay a deposit of at least $100. You will be asked to enter the deposit amount. The deposit shall be in part payment of the purchase price of the vehicle.
  • Payment.
    • We use Paystation as our payment provider. We do not store your credit card information on our systems.
    • The vehicle will be taken off the branch once your funds are cleared. We will send you an email confirming payment of the deposit, an invoice outlining the balance to pay, and pick-up instructions (Confirmation email). Until you receive an email or a call from our sales consultant, we do not guarantee the sales of the vehicle to you. For example, between the time you make an online deposit payment and when your payment is cleared, it is possible that a walk-in customer may buy the vehicle and so the vehicle may no longer be available for sale to you. In this case, we will refund you 100% of your deposit and notify you accordingly.
    • Once you receive a Confirmation email and you do not pay the balance of the purchase price within 5 days of payment of the deposit, the purchase will be terminated and the vehicle will be returned to the car yard.
  • Refunds.
    • Subject to clause 3.3 above, if you change your mind about your vehicle purchase after payment of the deposit you are under no obligation to complete the vehicle purchase.
    • We will:
      • refund 100% of the deposit where you advise us that you have changed your mind within two (2) days from payment of the deposit; or
      • refund 50% of the deposit where you advise us that you have changed your mind within five (5) days from the date of payment of the deposit.
    • If you advise us that you have changed your mind more than five (5) days from the date of payment of the deposit, the deposit shall be forfeited. Clauses 4.2 and 4.3 are subject to clause 5 (Finance, Mechanical Breakdown Insurance and Trade-ins).
    • If you have changed your mind about your vehicle purchase, please email us or call us on 0800 223 370 to speak with your local 2 Cheap Cars branch
    • Any refund of the deposit will be made via the Paystation platform to the same payment method (i.e. bank account or credit card) that you used to pay the deposit. Refunds will be processed approximately 2 to 5 working days later.
  • Finance, Mechanical Breakdown Insurance, and Trade-ins.
    If you need finance, mechanical breakdown insurance or you are looking to trade in your own vehicle, please contact us on 0800 223 370 to speak with your local 2 Cheap Cars branch or indicate to us by clicking the relevant fields below. If, within 5 days of paying your deposit, you:
    • have not obtained finance, mechanical breakdown insurance or trade-in value that is satisfactory to you (as applicable); and
    • advise us that you wish to cancel your vehicle purchase order and your reason for doing so under clause 5.1,
      we will refund 100% of your deposit. If you advise us that you wish to cancel your vehicle purchase order after 5 days of paying your deposit (regardless of your reasons), your deposit will be forfeited.
  • Promo Code.
    When redeeming a promotional code advertised on our website or otherwise, please read specific promotion details. The following terms apply generally to the use of promotional codes:
    • The promotional code is valid for a limited time only. We reserve the right to modify or cancel it at any time.
    • The promotional code cannot be combined with another promotional code unless otherwise specified.
    • The promotion is subject to all restrictions set forth in the offer.
    • The promotional code is not transferable (if it is issued to you individually), may not be resold or redeemed for cash.
    • If you return a vehicle purchased using a promotional code and we agree to refund the purchase price, we will subtract the value of the promotional code from your return credit.
    • Limit one promotional code per customer.
    If you violate any of the terms and conditions, the promotional code may be invalid, and the promotional code discount may not apply.
  • Sign Documents. You agree to complete all necessary acts and sign all necessary documents to give effect to your purchase of the vehicle.
