"Honestly, the car has ridiculous amounts of get up and go! If you're of the misconception that these are gutless wonders - I can wholeheartedly dispel that. We drive it on rural roads, the highway and normal city roads, and it never misses a beat. It's comfortable (if a little high), and has all the mod cons. Definitely recommend! "We got a lot of information from someone we knew who used to sell Nissan Leafs. We found out from her that we should only charge the battery to 80% most of the time - we wouldn't have known this otherwise (better for the overall battery health apparently). I didn't realise that it would only charge to 80% as that is the default when I first drove it, and so I was expecting it to be charged to 100% before a long road journey - that was a bit confusing. There is a bit to get used to after having an ICE car. The other thing we found out about from the person we knew was that we shouldn't charge the car with an extension cord. We knew about this in advance of purchasing one and have since installed an outside socket, but I think this should be made clear (Work Safe strongly advise against using extension cords for safety reasons)."— Anna S - 2014 Nissan Leaf 24S 91% SOH
