"We love this car and not many have this car yet in NZ. It is a good family car. We love it because we previously owned a Honda fit, Civic hybrid and Odyssey. Freed is a combination of these 3 cars. It looks like a bigger Honda Fit, it is spacious like the Honda Odyssey and has 7 seats too and is a hybrid like our old Honda Civic."

"The size for my needs was essential, I went from a smallish van to a car before this but felt the car too compact after a van, so needed something in between that was a hybrid, for me this size was simply perfect, quite roomy and spacious, and if needed with the back seats down huge capacity in the rear. Plenty of space in the back with the seats up for passengers to sit comfortably with good leg room and window views. Being a hybrid and 1500cc makes it very economical which was also high on my requirement list as we live rurally and fuel is a big consideration, and this makes it very economical, I normally plan my trips into town and fit in as many errands as possible to save fuel, but I don't worry about that now. To me I also think they are very stylish to look at, that was also something that matters to me. It is very comfortable to drive and the Spike model that I have with a back panel at the rear instead of the window does not bother me as mirrors, reversing camera and good all round vision are sufficient to see well. My husband and adult daughter as passengers also find it very comfortable, my husband has a stocky build. I am very impressed with my Honda Freed Spike and really enjoy driving it. My previous compact car that I had for less than a year (a Lexus) had more bells and whistles but I found some of them distracting, I prefer my 2012 Honda which sufficient electrical requirements to drive comfortably. I am more than happy to recommend the Honda Freed Spike to others. I love mine!!"
